Taking place once every two years, OGA provides the region oil industry professionals with an opportunity to network, share knowledge and most importantly, to close deals.
Malaysia The Regional Centre For Deepwater Development
PETRONAS, the national oil company of Malaysia, has over half a million sq km of exploration acreage of which 24% is in deepwater.
As Deepwater exploration and production is expected to be critical for securing future reserves, investment in deepwater technology will increase from 18% (currently) to 25% by 2011. It is also estimated by 2010 30% of national oil production will be from deepwater fields.
Malaysia is committed to becoming the regional hub for deepwater exploration. There are tremendous opportunities in many key technology areas including Topside Design, Risers, Pipelines, SubSea Modules and Installation and Well Intervention to name but a few.
Oil and Gas Asia, now the biggest oil and gas show in the region, is ideally positioned for companies looking to expand in this exciting region.
Offshore Capital Expenditure At An All Time High
